My career has involved a lot of cameras, a fair amount of travel, and an unreasonable number of rooms where something interesting was happening.

I started taking pictures in Vancouver in 2000. Montreal came next, then Vancouver again, Montreal again, and in 2009, New York, where I spent six years photographing musicians, actors, artists, celebrities, protests, street life and pretty much anything else that made me stop and look. Eventually, I came back to Vancouver.

For the past 26 years, I've worked across photography, video, writing, production, music and social media. I've photographed people at the height of their careers and people who were completely unknown. I've shot concerts, portraits, campaigns, interviews, live events and more than a few things that didn't fit neatly into any particular category.

I like people. I like stories. I like the unexpected. And after 26 years, I'm still happiest walking into a situation with no idea what I'm going to find.
