The last of Late Night with David Letterman.
I was always such a fan and so on the last two days of the show, I hung around outside the Ed Sullivan Theater to watch well… everything…the celebs, the fans, the press…Bill Murray bursting out the backstage door in front of me, Rupert Jee of course. Hello Deli was a regular stop for me anyway when I was wandering the city and Rupert worked there like anybody else. He made me plenty of sandwiches over the years.
I won tickets to see a show on February 23, 2011. Bucket list moment. I took my friend Frank and we were seated in the balcony right above Paul Shaffer’s area looking right down on him.
