October 9th, 2011 ~ Tonight I had the pleasure of attending the Reading of Washington Irving's "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". What a magical experience! To listen to a very well done, dramatic reading of this amazing story in the very setting and Old Dutch Church where the story is set ... it could not have been better. The church's only source of light is by candlelight. A very genuine atmosphere that wouldn't have been any different than it would have been a 100 years or more ago. I took a few photos along the way
